The corpses are covered with a hut woven from bamboo branches. Bodies decompose rather quickly under the influence of moisture and wind. Then the skulls are folded on a pedestal, which leaves an eerie impression.
Jatiluvi Rice Terraces
Rice is the main agricultural crop of the inhabitants. The islanders use every patch of fertile land to grow one of the dominant Asian cereals.
